In most cases, women begin ovulating on day 14 of their menstrual cycle, and fertilization usually occurs before or after this day. However, sometimes women miss ovulation, or the fertilization process can be affected by other factors, such as age, health, and medication use.
To determine whether a woman is fertile during her ovulation period, ovulation test strips can be used. Ovulation test paper is a test product for testing whether a woman's body contains eggs. It usually consists of two lines, one in the test area and the other in the control area. When a woman contains eggs, the lines in the test area become more vivid, while the lines in the control area become duller. If a woman is fertilized during ovulation and becomes pregnant, the line in the test zone will become more colorful than the line in the control zone, indicating that the egg has been detected and fertilization has occurred.
Although using ovulation test strips can determine whether a woman is fertile during her ovulation period, it is not 100% accurate. Because after the egg is released, it may stay in the woman's body for a period of time instead of being fertilized immediately. In addition, the fertilization process is also affected by other factors, such as temperature, pressure and light.
